Sump Pump water damage in Liberty Township, Ohio

This was a sump pump failure in a very nice finished basement with a theater in Liberty Township, Ohio. We were able to save and dry all the drywall, all of the carpet as well as all theater recliner furniture and wooden tables by blocking and padding furniture during content manipulation in order to extract carpet. When furniture sits in water it eventually wicks its way up the legs. It’s kinda like when you walk around and you have jeans that sometimes go beneath your shoes on a wet surface, it normally will wick its way up. It also does it with drywall. It’s always best to take care of a water damage asap.
